Lakeside's curbside recycling program is part of a broader set of "green" initiatives the Lakeside Association is adopting as part of its long-term Strategic Plan. Lakeside has partnered with Allied Waste to provide this service to property owners. The recycling totes are property of Allied Waste, therefore, they will also be responsible for maintaining the unit.
The curbside service will be offered on Friday mornings for five months each year (May - September) and will be complemented with retention of the large recycling container at the rubbish lot in South Lakeside year round.
The recycling service for Lakeside requires the use of a large amount of equipment and trained personnel. The guest and resident's cooperation are needed to make sure we reach a common goal of keeping Lakeside a clean and sanitary community.

Days of Refuse Collection: Refuse collection in Lakeside is on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
