Memorial and Tribute Gifts

A gift in honor or in memory of a loved one - family, friend or co-worker - is a wonderful way to pay tribute and honor their love for Lakeside. It can celebrate milestones, like the birth of a child, wedding or anniversary, remember a loved one or express sympathy to Lakeside friends. By making a tribute gift to the Lakeside Fund, donors will have an immediate impact on the Lakeside mission ensuring a quality Chautauqua experience for future generations.

When individuals make a gift in honor or in memory of a loved one, the donor will receive a thank-you letter and a special Lakeside note card with a stamped envelope. The note card has a special plate for donors to write a personalized message before sending the card to the family or loved one. It is a special way to personally notify them directly about the contribution. If donors wish for the Advancement Office to notify the family or loved one, a Tribute Form will need to be completed and submitted with the gift. Hoover Auditorium Seat

With a gift of $300, Lakeside will add a new cushioned seat to Hoover Auditorium in tribute of a loved one. The seat will be installed with an engraved plaque and special message of your choice.  You can give a gift online and select 'Hoover Auditorium Seat' as the gift designation. 

In addition, please complete, download and return the Tribute Form along with your gift for the Advancement Office to mail a special Lakeside note card. Notice of Tribute Gifts

Families may prefer to ask for memorial gifts through the obituary. The notice in the obituary might read, "In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in memory to the Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation, 236 Walnut Ave., Lakeside, Ohio 43440. Please contact the Advancement Office via email at advancement@lakesideohio.com."
