Property owners must submit plans to the Historic Preservation and Design Review Board (HP&DRB) for any physical changes, to ensure they are in keeping with Lakeside's heritage and character. The HP&DRB meets one Saturday each month. Applications, regulations and meeting schedules are available at the Lakeside Association Office. All meetings are at 9 am in the Train Station, unless otherwide noted. Applications will be accepted until 4:30 pm on application deadline dates.
Reviews are required for all external changes including porches, decks, gazebos, windows, roofing, siding, fences, sheds, driveways, ornamentation, major landscaping and removal of all or part of a building. Approval is not required for painting and routine repairs.
