Appliances and other mechanical/electrical items in cottages are not guaranteed. Lakeside Chautauqua Realty (LCR) will arrange for any necessary repairs in a timely manner. Occupancy is strictly limited to the number of persons given at the time of reservation. Additional charges and/or termination of your rental may result from non-compliance with this policy. Do not move or re-arrange any furniture. LCR is not responsible for personal items left in cottage. LCR reserves the right to show any rental property that is for sale with prior notice to enter.
Gate fees are charged over Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-28) and during our Chautauqua Season (June 23 - Sept. 3). Cottage Rentals from June 2 - Sept. 1 are ONLY by the week, from Saturday-Saturday. Cottage in-season rental rates are charged from May 25 - Sept. 3.
Some cottages may be rented, with a two-night minimum, off-season prior to May 25 (starting April 15), and after Sept. 3. Off-season rental rates are charged prior to May 25 and after Sept. 3.
Check-in is anytime after 3 pm on Saturday. Check-out is anytime before 10 am the following Saturday (if cleaning has been hired, then check-out time is 9 am). Your key and paperwork must be returned to the Welcome Center by the check-out time or a $50.00 late check-out fee will be deducted from your security deposit for every hour you are late. Renters will check-in and out at the Welcome Center located at the South Gate Entrance of Lakeside, off State Route 163.
Each reservation is secured with a 30% rent deposit and $200 security deposit.
The rent deposit is due within 14 days from the date the reservation was made. We accept Visa and MasterCard payments over the phone.
The security deposit is due within 14 days from the date the reservation was made. We accept Visa and MasterCard payments over the phone. LCR will hold a $200.00 security deposit from the renter. LCR may deduct from this security deposit any reasonable charges for the following: failure to clean, failure to remove trash/recycling, lost keys, lost "Same Time Next Year" condo parking permits, late check-out (after 10 am), having a pet in the property, smoking in the property, any repair costs arising from the renters occupancy of the property. The security deposit will be returned to the renter 30 days after check-out subject to the above conditions.
The final balance due must be paid in full 30 days before your arrival date. We accept Visa and MasterCard payments over the phone.
Each reservation made will have a $45.00 reservation fee that is to be paid by the renter.
Each reservation is secured with a 30% rent deposit and a $200.00 security deposit due within fourteen 14 days of the renter booking the cottage. Should a renter cancel a reservation 30 days or more prior to arrival they will receive the rent deposit back, minus a $50.00 handling fee, ONLY if the cottage is re-rented. If the reservation is cancelled fewer than 30 days of arrival there will be NO refund of any rental monies paid. If a reservation is cancelled at any time the $200.00 security deposit will be refunded in full 30 days from cancellation.
There will be a $35.00 processing fee charged for any returned check of the renter.
Kitchen including: stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, pots and pans
Bedroom including: pillow(s), mattress pad(s) and blanket(s).
Cleaning supplies including: mop, broom, bucket, vacuum sweeper, toilet bowl brush, garbage can (inside and outside)
Bed linens: sheets and pillowcase(s)
Towels: bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels, kitchen and dish towels
Bathroom toiletries
Paper products: paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, paper plates, cups and bowls
Cleaning products: trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry soap, hand soap and a full compliment of cleaning supplies
Renter is required to leave the property in clean and neat condition upon check-out. Please leave cottage clean, undamaged and ready for the next guests. Failure to leave the property in clean condition will result in a cleaning charge deducted from your security deposit.
Cottage cleaning required, but not limited to:
Hired cleaning may be arranged by renter (at least two weeks before arrival). Contact the independent cleaners listed on the rental information sent to you. These cleaners are not associated with Lakeside Chautauqua Realty. If cleaning is hired or included: renter must wash, dry and put away all kitchenware, remove all trash and take to BFI hoppers located on Maple Avenue past the Welcome Center, make beds neatly, put dirty linens in laundry room (if linens are provided). Please leave cottage clean, undamaged and ready for the next guests.
