Lakeside Shuffleboard Club
Shuffleboard is a game that can be played at any stage of life. It transcends gender and strength and has become a beloved pastime at Lakeside. In 1928, Lakeside established the first organized shuffleboard facility in Ohio and founded the Lakeside Shuffleboard Club. Over the years, a strong emphasis has been placed on the quality of the courts and the sportsmanship of the players.
The Lakeside Shuffleboard Club has more than 100 members. The club offers membership for the entire summer for $10. Membership allows participation in Ohio State Shuffleboard Association (OSSA) sanctioned tournaments. Being a member of the Lakeside Shuffleboard Club is the best value.

All tournaments have sign-up starting at 8:15 a.m. with play beginning at 9 a.m.
There are a total of 26 courts in the first-class shuffleboard complex, eight north courts and 18 south courts. There are also three covered bleachers to accommodate spectators. Court hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and noon-9 p.m. Sunday, unless otherwise noted. During the summer, the Lakeside Chautauqua Shuffleboard Staff may be reached at 866-952-5374, ext. 269.
The club belongs to the Ohio Shuffleboard Association, which facilitates tournaments throughout Ohio. The 25th International Shuffleboard Team Tournament took place at Lakeside, which speaks to the quality of the facilities that are maintained at Lakeside. This seven-day tournament brought representatives from the U.S., Japan, Canada, Brazil, Australia, and Germany to compete for the team championship.
