This engaging and light-hearted presentation with Richard Vail offers a rare opportunity to encounter birds from around the world, many of which you may never have the chance to see in person. While most featured species are celebrated for their exceptional beauty, others are highlighted for their unusual and eccentric behaviors that captivate and surprise audiences.
Through fascinating facts and insights into each bird’s distinctive traits and behaviors, the program both entertains and deepens appreciation for the remarkable diversity of the avian world.
Vail spent most of his professional career as an independent contract trainer, delivering presentations to audiences across 47 states and internationally in England, Scotland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
His areas of instruction include accounting fundamentals, managing difficult employees, project management and personal computer basics. During the final 15 years of his career, he was a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), specializing in intensive 35-hour courses designed to prepare individuals for PMP certification.
In retirement, Vail developed a passion for birding. Drawing on his classroom experience and enthusiasm for learning, he now presents programs that foster greater awareness and appreciation of birds and the natural world.
