Join us for Restorative Yoga on Mother’s Day weekend. Led by Certified Yoga Instructor Char Wilkerson, this class is a gentle and relaxing form of Yin Yoga that offers many benefits, such as reducing stress, improving sleep and promoting overall well-being.
Unlike more active yoga styles that focus on building strength and flexibility, Restorative Yoga emphasizes stillness and comfort.
Blankets and blocks are used to support participants in passive poses, which are held for 5-15 minutes to allow the body to relax into the pose. Any casual attire is appropriate.
To participate in the class, purchase a Wellness Class Pass for $45/person for five classes at the Lakeside Chautauqua Administration Office, located at 236 Walnut Ave., or pay a $10/class drop-in fee (cash only) to the instructor at the start of the class.
