Ellis is a pastor, author, birder and host of “The Thing with Feathers” podcast. With warmth, she blends thoughtful biblical teaching and stories from the natural world, offering a message that is both refreshing and hopeful.
She lives in Orange County, California, with her husband — also a pastor — and their three children. Together, they serve the Presbyterian Church of the Master.
Ellis is the author of Uncluttered, Free Your Space, Free Your Schedule, Free Your Soul (2019), Looking Up: A Birder’s Guide to Hope through Grief (2024), and her newest release, Weathering Change: Seeking Peace Amid Life’s Tough Transitions (February 2026).
