This session will explore the final combat mission out of Saigon in January 1973. It will also cover the end of the Vietnam War for the United States, the Second Tet Offensive, and the unusual way we left the country.
Peter Collins concentrates his legal practice in general litigation, with an emphasis on insurance defense and coverage, construction, aviation, medical malpractice, personal injury and products liability claims, including wrongful death cases. In 2022, he was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates in recognition of his 44 years of trial experience.
A former prosecuting attorney, Collins has extensive jury trial experience in civil, medical malpractice and personal injury litigation, participating in more than 80 jury trials throughout his career.
Collins served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969-1973 and in the Air National Guard from 1973-1991. Over 22 years of military service, he logged more than 4,000 flight hours in jet fighters and other aircraft and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross three times.
