Celebrate the vibrant flavors of Alaska and Hawai’i in Cooking Across America with Chef Stacy: Pacific Plates, A Culinary Journey from Alaska to Hawai’i.  

Chef Stacy Maple leads a cooking demonstration honoring America’s Semiquincentennial. This engaging experience brings together land, sea and culture as she teaches how to prepare fresh Lomi-Lomi-style Wild Alaskan salmon, savory-sweet Huli Huli Chicken and a silky traditional Haupia. Along the way, discover professional cooking techniques, practical chef’s tips and the rich regional stories that connect these two remarkable states, proving that simple, thoughtful cooking can beautifully celebrate place, tradition and American heritage.  

Maple is a professionally trained chef, culinary educator and hospitality consultant with decades of experience inspiring people to cook healthier, tastier food with confidence and joy. As the founder of Chef Stacy Maple Culinary Experiences, she creates engaging, hands-on cooking demonstrations, classes and consulting services rooted in professional kitchen techniques and real-world nutrition practices.  

A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts with additional training in food styling from the French Culinary Institute, Maple brings a deep understanding of flavor and technique to every dish she creates. Her passion for whole foods and fresh ingredients has shaped her culinary style — one that celebrates nutrient-rich, low-fat, low-calorie cooking without ever sacrificing flavor.  

Maple’s engaging teaching style makes complex concepts accessible, whether she’s working with novice home cooks, corporate wellness groups, community organizations or passionate food lovers. From teaching families how to get kids excited about healthy meals to showing professionals how to make better food choices on busy schedules, Maple’s presentations are as educational as they are entertaining.
