For more than 30 summers, God Squad with Chip Richter has been a beloved Lakeside tradition, welcoming children and families into a joyful space of music, movement, storytelling and faith-filled fun.
Two sessions take place Tuesday-Thursday (June 9-Aug. 20) in Bradley Temple, with ages 4-6 at 9 a.m. and ages 7-9 at 10 a.m.
"Mr. Chip" brings his award-winning gift for “Music for Kids & Families” to this one-of-a-kind gathering where children are reminded that they are loved, wonderfully made, and part of something bigger than themselves. With rollicking songs, gentle moments, playful humor, and a heart for connection, Chip creates an atmosphere where kids can laugh, sing, wonder, and grow.
God Squad is more than a children’s program. It is a place where faith comes alive through story and song, where families are encouraged, and where every young child is invited to discover joy, belonging, and the everlasting love of God.
Richter’s concerts and gatherings feel like a table set for everyone: full of welcome, warmth and just enough silliness to make the message stick. Children love the energy, parents love the heart behind it, and together, families leave with songs in their heads, smiles on their faces and reminders of God’s love tucked deep into their hearts.
