New this year, Lakeside will be hosting the first community-wide Spelling Bee. This fun-filled evening will feature some of our brightest Lakesiders and talented spellers along with our Master of Ceremonies, Jennifer Wertz.
This event will be held in Orchestra Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21.
Folks aged 18 and up are welcome to participate and there is no cost to enter. Pre-registration is not required. Those who wish to enter the Bee must arrive at Orchestra Halls front doors no later than 6:30 p.m. The first 20 individuals will be selected, so make sure you get there early.
Please note that there will be no holding spots for anyone but yourself, and only one representative from each immediate family will be allowed to participate.
Doors will open to the public at 7 p.m., and we strongly encourage Lakesiders to come out and support these spelling whizzes.
