Grant Olsen will be discussing arthritis, with a primary focus on osteoarthritis, which affects over 32 million people in the U.S. He will discuss how it develops, and signs and symptoms to watch for. He will also discuss strategies and treatments, including lifestyle changes, medications, injections and surgeries. While this chronic condition is projected to increase in prevalence, there are many ways to manage the pain and symptoms that affect 1 in 7 American adults.
Olsen is an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner in the NOMS office behind Magruder Hospital. He is from Norwalk and obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Cedarville College. He has been with NOMS since 2021.
