DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to attend the Lakeside Women’s Club’s (LWC) 1:30 p.m. Tuesday programs from June 16-August 25 at Green Gables\, 161 Walnut Ave. These programs are led by Sally Lenhart.\n \nSCHEDULE\n \nJune 16: Welcome Back / Meet & Greet with M.A. Stephens\n \nJune 23: “You Can’t Play Baseball in a Skirt”\nHistorical interpreter and storyteller Betty Lou Higgins will speak about Ohio’s Alta Weiss\, who pitched for a minor league men’s baseball team in the 1920s.\n \nJune 30: “The ABCs of Navigating Children Learning Challenges”\nA panel discussion with Sally DePerro\, Mercedes Wise\, Jason DePerro and Jill Stephenson.\n \nJuly 7: “An Intro to the Art & History of the Carousel”\nPresented by Bonnie Behm of the Merry-Go-Round Museum in Sandusky\, Ohio.\n \nJuly 14: “What’s the Buzz about Beekeeping?”\nAn introduction to honeybees and beekeeping will be presented by Laura de Roziere\, beekeeper and Ottawa County Director of the Sandusky River Valley Beekeepers Association.\n \nJuly 21: The Janet Jennings Memorial Scholarships will be awarded and “Dining with the Presidents”\nPresented by Janet Weir Creighton\, a member of the White House staff under President George W.
