Boat Parade

New this summer, the Lakeside Wooden Boat Society (LWBS) will host a Boat Parade along the shore at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, weather permitting.

After Kids Setting Sail and the Watersports Show conclude, Lakesiders in their boats will gather west of the Lakeside Dock and cruise east down Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile.

Lisa and Scott Waite, in their 36-foot 1965 Chris Craft Constellation, Waite N’ Sea, will lead the parade.

The parade will include a mix of classic wooden boats, new boats, sailboats and more. If you’d like to participate, contact Lisa at lisawaite@me.com.

In the case of inclement weather, the Boat Parade will be rescheduled for Sunday, Aug. 11.
