Orchestra Hall enjoys the distinction of being the only movie theater on the Marblehead Peninsula and Ottawa County. It is a historic theater to watch new and classic films.
Lakeside will feature the movie “Despicable Me” at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23. The movie is free, but Lakeside Chautauqua values donations to support these types of programs.
Gru, a criminal mastermind, adopts three orphans as pawns to carry out the biggest heist in history. His life takes an unexpected turn when the little girls see the evildoer as their potential father.
The 2010 film features the voices of Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Julie Andrews, Will Arnett and Kristen Wiig. (PG, 1h 35m)
