Historic Preservation Lecture with Lindsay Jones
Join us Saturday, Sept 3. at 2 p.m. at the Train Station to hear Lindsay Jones, owner of Blind Eye Restoration. Her talk will be about window preservation techniques. This lecture is supported by the Vearl Smith Historic Preservation Endowment.
Jones is the owner and lead conservator of Blind Eye Restoration in Columbus, an architecture and art restoration firm focusing on the maintenance of historic structures and materials. Jones also consults and teaches across the country on topics related to her conservation work, including wood window restoration, refinishing, masonry repointing, plaster, and metals to share her knowledge with the public in the hopes of increasing preservation awareness and encouraging more kids and women to join the restoration contracting field.
