Movie: “Breakthrough”

Orchestra Hall enjoys the distinction of being the only movie theater on the Marblehead Peninsula and Ottawa County. It is a historic theater to watch new and classic films.

Lakeside will feature the movie “Breakthrough” at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11. The movie is free, but Lakeside Chautauqua values donations to support these types of programs.

In this movie, a mother’s unwavering faith and determination drive her to support her son’s miraculous recovery after he falls through an icy lake and is declared clinically dead.

The film stars Chrissy Metz, Josh Lucas and Topher Grace, providing a powerful mix of drama, inspiration and emotional depth. (PG, 1h 56m)
