Movie: “Little Women”

Orchestra Hall enjoys the distinction of being the only movie theater on the Marblehead Peninsula and Ottawa County. It is a historic theater to watch new and classic films.

Lakeside will feature the movie “Little Women” at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4. The movie is free, but Lakeside Chautauqua values donations to support these types of programs.

Jo March and her sisters navigate the trials of adolescence and adulthood, each striving to find their own paths and reconcile their dreams with the realities of their time.

The film stars Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh and Timothée Chalamet, providing a fresh, heartfelt take on the classic tale with emotional depth and vibrant performances. (PG, 2h 15m)
