Movie: “The Croods: A New Age”

Orchestra Hall enjoys the distinction of being the only movie theater on the Marblehead Peninsula and Ottawa County. It is a historic theater to watch new and classic films.

Lakeside will feature the movie “The Croods: A New Age” at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. The movie is free, but Lakeside Chautauqua values donations to support these types of programs.

The Croods embark on a journey to find a more modern paradise, where they meet the sophisticated Bettermans, leading to a clash of cultures and a deeper understanding of what it means to be a family.

The film stars the voices of Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds, blending adventure, comedy and family dynamics. (PG, 1h 35m)
