Movie: “Free Guy”

Orchestra Hall enjoys the distinction of being the only movie theater on the Marblehead Peninsula and Ottawa County. It is a historic theater to watch new and classic films.

Lakeside will feature the movie “Free Guy” at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27. The movie is free, but Lakeside Chautauqua values donations to support these types of programs.

Guy, a bank teller who discovers he’s a background character in a chaotic video game, must navigate a new reality to save his world and find his own purpose.

The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer and Taika Waititi, combining action, comedy and a clever take on virtual reality. (PG-13, 1h 55m)
