Movie: “Shazam! Fury of the Gods”

Orchestra Hall enjoys the distinction of being the only movie theater on the Marblehead Peninsula and Ottawa County. It is a historic theater to watch new and classic films.

Lakeside will feature the movie “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13. The movie is free, but Lakeside Chautauqua values donations to support these types of programs.

Billy Batson, a teenage superhero juggling his dual life, must confront powerful enemies who endanger his family and the world, all while learning the true meaning of heroism.

The film stars Asher Angel, Zachary Levi and Helen Mirren, offering a blend of action, humor and heart. (PG-13, 2h 10m)
