Robin Echols Cooper: ‘Stories From Around the World’

Robin Echols Cooper will take Lakesiders on an animated journey as she spins “Stories From Around the World” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 19 at the Steele Memorial Bandstand in celebration of Juneteenth.

Echols Cooper’s unique style of bringing characters to life through vocal characterizations and singing will captivate the imaginations of all ages. From China to Africa, the tales are about building community, strength, kindness and peace. Audience members will be invited to help retell a story using hand-crafted puppets made by Echols Cooper. They will also create music and sound effects to bring the colorful story to life.
