UltraMissions Kids’ Paddle Adventure Class (ages 7-16)
Join Dr. Lynne Nagy, ASI certified trainer, for paddleboard classes at the Waterfront Rental Center. Kids (ages 7-16) will learn the fundamentals of Stand Up Paddleboarding while exploring, playing and creating their own adventure on the water.
Sessions are offered Tuesday-Thursday, July 5-7 from 9:30-11 a.m., and the fee is $50 per class. All classes include a paddleboard, paddle, life jacket and instruction. Please wear sunscreen and bring a towel, water bottle and personal life jacket if available. Register early as space is limited. Chautauqua Pass and Auto Pass are not included with class fees.
Nagy has owned and operated UltraMissions, the Midwest’s only ASI accredited Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) school in Cleveland since 2010. As the headmaster, she aims to empower children, teens and adults with a stronger sense of self and an appetite for adventure. The mission of her company is to enhance individual and group problem-solving skills and provide fitness training on and off the water, all while embracing the spirit of fun and adventure.
Nagy has been paddling since 2008 and holds ASI Level 1 and Level 2 SUP Trainer accreditation for Enclosed Flat Water and Exposed Waters locations, Water Rescue. She has a Ph.D. in learning and development from Cleveland State University, with an emphasis on experiential learning and Outward Bound and holds a permanent teaching certificate in the State of Ohio. Additionally, Nagy is certified as an American Red Cross Lifeguard instructor, CPR and first aid instructor. Her team of experienced and accredited ASI instructors work to provide the safest and most thorough Stand Up Paddleboard instruction in the Midwest.
