West Ohio Corvette Show & Shuffle

Lakeside will host the West Ohio Corvette Show & Shuffle on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the Hotel Lakeside lawn. This fun event invites car enthusiasts of all ages to get an up-close look at some of the area’s most impressive Chevrolet Corvettes in the region.

Vote for your favorite Vette by picking up a ballot at the registration tent on the Hotel Lakeside lawn and submitting your pick before 2 p.m.

During the show, Jerry Popiel will provide music from the 1970s through today on the Pavilion West Deck from 1-3 p.m.

In addition to the display of Corvettes, the car owners will compete in a Funkhana, a light-hearted competition by car clubs. Lakeside’s Funkhana is a mini four-bracket shuffleboard tournament with two players per team.

REGISTRATION
Do you have your own Corvette to display? Registration is $35 and includes participation in six “Car Shows” on the day of the event and the shuffleboard Funkhana. Registration also includes admission to Lakeside for the exhibitor and one guest/passenger, which includes access to the Hoover Auditorium concert with Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone that evening. Parking is also included.

Enter through the E. Second Street Gate on Harsh Road with your Corvette. On-site registration is from 9-10:30 a.m. at the registration tent on the Hotel Lakeside lawn. For more information, contact Theresa Barger at tbarger@lakesideohio.com.
