Music on the Lakefront

Beautiful sunsets, enriching programs, spectacular gardens, inspirational music, special friends and community are important to the Lakeside Chautauqua experience every year.

For one night only, we’re combining all into a memorable experience along Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile, known as ‘Music on the Lakefront’ at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8. Special thanks to Mame and Bill Drackett at 528 Lakefront for graciously hosting this extraordinary Lakeside experience.

Evening Music on the Lakefront 

The evening will start with a time of fellowship, allowing you meet new Lakesiders and reconnect with longtime friends. At 7:30 p.m., Michael Shirtz & Friends will perform a special evening concert, with Lake Erie, the islands and sunset as a beautiful backdrop.

A performer, producer, composer and conductor, Shirtz is known for his versatility with jazz, contemporary and classical music.

All are welcome to attend this ticketed event with a suggested donation of $25 or more per person. Generous donations support cultural arts at Lakeside Chautauqua. New Lakeside supporters, and those renewing their support to Lakeside, will be included in our ‘Step Up for Lakeside’ Challenge.

Purchase your ticket early, as space is limited on the lawn. To reserve your spot, fill out the form below, give your donation and provide the names of the attendees.  Individuals can register by calling (419) 798-4461 ext. 246 or stopping by the Legacy House, too.  Please note you do need a Daily Chautauqua Pass or a Season Pass for admission to the Lakeside grounds for the concert.
