Professional Development Graduate Credit
Lake Erie College, in partnership with Lakeside Chautauqua, offers professional development graduate credit based on participation in educational programs during the summer Institute. This opportunity is designed for educators needing to renew teaching licenses and/or gain professional development credit.
The Lakeside Chautauqua Model for the Classroom 2022 course will be offered through Lake Erie College. This two-credit graduate course aligns to the Ohio Department of Education standards that identify the cognitive and creative learning process. These standards include: observing, producing/performing and responding/reflecting. Types of higher-level thinking for the elective process will include analysis, synthesis and evaluation.
