Beach Walk

9:30 a.m., Saturday, July 2 & Thursday, July 7
Lakefront – Beach
Join Dawn Cordero for a barefoot walk on the beach while learning the basics and feeling the benefits of Reflexology. Feel free to join anytime during the hour. In the case of inclement weather, this class is cancelled.


Chair Yoga

10-11 a.m., Saturday, July 2
Pavilion Upper Room
Join instructor Linda Green for a gentle form of yoga where all exercises are performed seated in a chair or standing using the chair to aid with support and balance. This class offers a variety of yoga poses, breathwork and relaxation techniques designed to leave you with a sense of well-being.

9:15-10:15 a.m., Monday, July 4

Join Char Wilkerson for Chair Yoga, a gentle form of yoga that is especially suited for those who prefer not to be down on the floor. All yoga exercises and postures will be done seated in a chair or standing, using the chair to aid with support and balance. Benefits include improved strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, circulation, and stress reduction.


Core, Glutes, Legs

8:15-9:15 a.m., Monday, July 4

Feel strong and powerful in this class focusing on core strength, glutes and inner thighs. Light weights will be used for some portion of this class for a full-body workout.


Water Aerobics

8:30-9:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 5 & Friday, July 8
Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus Pool
The buoyancy of water decreases stress on weight-bearing joints, making it easier and less painful to perform exercise. Because the effects of gravity are lessened, participants can move their joints through a wider range of motion and achieve greater flexibility in water. This is not a swim class; participants do not need to know how to swim to participate, nor do they submerge heads underwater. Wear a swimsuit and sun visor. Please complete the liability form at the pool desk before.


Experienced Yoga

7:30-8:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 5 & Thursday, July 7
Memorial Garden at Chautauqua Park Pavilion – Rain Location: Wellness Center Drackett Hall
This experienced-level class led by Linda Green includes the sun salutation, shoulder-stand and hold postures. Bring a yoga mat or blanket, props and a bottle of water.


Basic Yoga

8:45-9:45 a.m., Tuesday, July 5 & Thursday, July 7

This beginner-friendly class, led by Linda Green, includes gentle yet strengthening yoga positions and breathing exercises.


Zumba

Start your Tuesday off with an exciting rush! Zumba is a dance workout designed to get your heart rate up and boost cardio endurance. No dance experience is necessary.


Reflexology Hour

Pavilion West Deck
Join Dawn Cordero, Certified Reflexologist, for this hands-on, experiential demonstration to learn about Reflexology and its benefits for the body, mind and spirit.


Tai Chi Easy

10 a.m.-11a.m., Wednesday, July 6
Pavilion West Deck – Rain Location: Pavilion Upper Room
Cultivate balance and harmony with Elizabeth Revy as she leads this mind-body self-care practice designed to improve health and wellness for all ages. Easy Tai Chi forms, breathing practices, self-applied massage and short meditation included. Experience the benefits of stress reduction, balance improvement, immune system activation and much more. No prior Tai Chi experience necessary.


Qigong

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 6
Pavilion West Deck – Rain Location: Pavilion Upper Room
Develop energy cultivation as Antoinette Horn leads this ancient Chinese self-care practice that promotes optimal health, vitality and longevity. Each class includes mindful movements, self-applied massage, breathwork and meditation. These exercises can be done seated or standing. No prior experience is necessary.


Gentle Hatha Yoga

5:30-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 6
Wellness Center Drackett Hall
This evening practice for all skill levels includes stretching, yoga postures, meditation and relaxation. Bring a yoga mat or blanket, props and bottle of water. It is best to dress in comfortable layers.


Interval Training

9:45-10:45 a.m., Thursday, July 7
Wellness Center Drackett Hall  
Experience short intervals (30 sec.) of more intense exercise combined with longer intervals of less intense activity, adaptable to fitness level for a total body workout. 


Bootcamp Circuit Training

8:30-9:30 a.m., Friday, July 8
Wellness Center Drackett Hall 
Build total body strength and endurance with this workout that combines strength and cardio exercises. Exercises will be done in stations using various pieces of equipment.


Soul Stretch Yoga

9-10 a.m., Friday, July 8
Hotel Lakeside Lawn – Rain Location: Pavilion West Deck
Start your weekend with an inspirational all-level Yoga Flow class with Rose Sabin and the Soul Stretch Community overlooking our beautiful waterfront. Dress in comfortable layers and bring a mat and bottle of water. Please come a few minutes early to fill out a class waiver.
