Whether you want to improve your tennis and pickleball skills, play in a friendly match or challenge yourself in a tournament, our courts at Lakeside were designed with you in mind.
Tennis & Pickleball Courts
The Lakeside tennis facilities feature 10 tennis courts of three different surfaces. At the Williams Tennis Campus, located on Sixth Street in South Lakeside, there are three fast-drying HarTru courts, two natural clay courts and two hard courts. Three additional hard courts are located along the lakefront in Perry Park.
At the Hubbard Pickleball Center, adjacent to the tennis courts in South Lakeside, there are eight courts dedicated to this popular sport. Pickleball is a game that combines the elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong.
Off-Season Recreation Options
- Players are welcome to use the tennis and pickleball courts with their own equipment.
- For hotel guests, pickleball equipment will be available at the Fountain Inn front desk.
- Please note, the courts are not maintained in the off-season but guests are welcome to play.

Round Robins & Mixers
During the summer season participate in the following events:
Tennis Round Robin (Intermediate): Mon., Wed., Fri., 9-11 a.m.
Participate in friendly competition with rotating players from levels 3.0-3.5. Cost is $1.
Tennis Round Robin (Advanced): Tues., Thurs., Sat., 9-11 a.m.
Participate in friendly competition with rotating players from levels 3.5 and up. Cost is $1.
Pickleball Mixer: Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m. – Noon
All ages and skill levels welcome.

Youth Tennis & Pickleball Program
Lakeside Chautauqua offers a United States Tennis Association (USTA) 10 & Under QuickStart tennis program. This youth program introduces children to tennis by teaching the fundamentals. It’s unique because it uses portable nets to create smaller courts, different size rackets and three different types of tennis balls that are introduced sequentially as children develop their strokes and learn to rally successfully. By using slower-moving and lower-bouncing balls, shorter and lighter rackets and smaller courts, children of all ages are able to grasp the fundamentals of tennis more easily and develop their skills more successfully. All lessons are free and no pre-registration is required.
Lessons run from June 27 – August 5 at the Williams Tennis Campus. Lessons are cancelled on July 4 and July 25-29.
