Celebrate artistry on land and water during the Lakeside Wooden Boat Show & Plein Air Art Festival, one of Lakeside’s signature summer weekends, July 17-19. This family-friendly event showcases the timeless craftsmanship of wooden boatbuilding alongside the creativity of artists painting outdoors throughout the community.
Wet Paint Sale
Paintings created throughout the weekend will be available for purchase during the Wet Paint Sale on Sunday from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Volunteers are needed from 12:30-4 p.m. to assist with the wet paint sale, process sales and coordinate with the artists.
Easel Art in the Park
Kids of all ages can explore their inner Picasso, Van Gogh or Rembrandt and paint on easels with tempera paint during the Plein Air Art Festival on Sunday, July 19 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. south of the Pavilion. Volunteers are needed to assist with this activity.
