Meeting Spaces

Lakeside is able to accommodate groups of all sizes. We not only have two hotels, but also several dormitory-styled buildings you can use for your next group event. Banquet services are available at any of our facilities, but we are also able to serve larger groups at our banquet halls in Wesley Lodge or Hotel Lakeside. Our Group Sales staff is here to help you plan your special event or group retreat. We welcome youth camps, weddings, reunions, groups, business meetings and conferences. We have facilities to fit every need and have the space to provide banquet service and breakout rooms. Our Group Sales staff can make the planning process quick and easy, guiding you toward a great experience. The staff strives for excellence while always keeping our mission statement in mind.

Wesley Lodge

Wesley Lodge hosts two banquet rooms. These rooms will accommodate up to a total of 250 guests for banquets and meetings. It’s a great place for groups to enjoy year round, especially during the winter season with the warmth of the fireplace. During the Chautauqua summer season this is an ideal location for a wedding reception, youth camps and retreat groups.

Fountain Inn Green Room & Aigler Room

The Fountain Inn has two spacious meeting spaces that offer the flexibility you need for large gatherings of up to 200 guests, or smaller breakout sessions within the same two rooms. Both rooms are available year round. Wireless access is available for multi-media presentations, as well as A/V capabilities.

Train Station

Take a step back in time in this vintage train depot, open year round. Outside, there's a wonderful open-air porch for outdoor events among the trees. Inside, there's a large open room for group meetings up to 50 people with A/V capabilities. A smaller board room with mission-style highback wooden chairs and a nice warm wood-panelled environment is also located in the historic train station. A small kitchen separates the two rooms.

Hotel Lakeside Fern Room & Marine Room

The Hotel Lakeside Fern Room is a large Victorian-style dining area, which will seat comfortably 40 guests. Located next to the Fern Room is the Marine Room, a beautiful setting for wedding receptions, family reunions and special gatherings that will comfortably seat 100 guests. The Hotel Lakeside is open seasonally from May - September.

Pavilion

This beautifully situated building sits directly on Lake Erie and can accommodate up to 75 people. Enjoy the sights and sounds and the natural beauty of Lake Erie while enjoying your festivities whether it’s a picnic, family reunion, baby or bridal shower.

Steele Memorial Bandstand (Gazebo)

The Steele Memorial Bandstand, also known as the gazebo located in Central Park, has the shores of Lake Erie as its backdrop. This is a spectacular setting for a wedding or family reunion. The area can easily accommodate up to 250 guests for a ceremony.

Hoover Auditorium

The historic Hoover Auditorium will meet the needs of larger groups visiting the Chautauqua community. This massive structure can accommodate up to 2,500 guests and includes A/V and sound capabilities with two projection screens and a large open stage. This location is ideal for large conferences and concerts and is open seasonally May - September.

Orchestra Hall

Orchestra Hall, Lakeside's historic movie theater, is also available for group meeting space seasonally May - September. Located in the Lakeside Business District, Orchestra Hall can accommodate 225 guests. It includes a large stage area and piano.

Chapel in the Woods

The Chapel in the Woods features a secluded, peaceful setting with natural surroundings. Located off the beaten path by the South Gate Welcome Center, the Chapel in the Woods brings you one with nature.
