Located on the shores of Lake Erie, Lakeside is a sought-after destination to host retreats, weddings, family reunions and business meetings. Chapel in the Woods

Chapel in the Woods is a peaceful, secluded space immersed in natural surroundings. Located near the South Gate Welcome Center, this space is ideal for wedding ceremonies, outdoor workshops and intimate gatherings. This setting can accommodate 50 guests, with the option of adding chairs.

Chautauqua Park

Chautauqua Park, home to a beautiful memorial garden, is a sacred space where the living can reflect and connect spiritually, loved ones can be remembered, special occasions can be celebrated, and the beauty of nature can be embraced. The park is one of Lakeside's most unique outdoor venues filled beautiful flowers, fountains, a nature walking trail and surrounded by wooded space. The outdoor Pavilion seats up to 100, and the lawn can accommodate 200+ guests.

Hoover Auditorium

Historic Hoover Auditorium meets the needs of larger groups visiting Lakeside. This massive structure accommodates up to 2,600 guests and includes A/V and sound capabilities with two projection screens and a large, open stage. This space is ideal for conferences, lectures and concerts and is open seasonally from May-September.

Hotel Lakeside Lawn

The front lawn of Hotel Lakeside is Lakeside’s most popular outdoor venue. With more than 9,000 square feet of waterfront greenspace and a beautifully landscaped fountain, the lawn comfortably seats 250 guests for an outdoor ceremony and easily accommodates large tents for additional covered space.

Orchestra Hall

Orchestra Hall, Lakeside's historic movie theater, is available for groups year-round. Located in the downtown business district, Orchestra Hall accommodates 225 guests and features a small stage, large projection screen, A/V and sound capability, and a piano.

Pavilion

This iconic Lakeside structure sits directly on the shores of Lake Erie. Featuring indoor and outdoor spaces, each area comfortably accommodates 75 guests in a classroom or banquet-style arrangement. With more than 1,500 square-feet of space on the outdoor decks, groups can gather for picnics, celebrations and meetings overlooking the Lake Erie islands. The 600-square-foot Indoor meeting space is located on the second floor. Please note, this venue does not offer air conditioning.

Fountain Inn Aigler Room

Located in the downtown business district, the Fountain Inn is one of Lakeside's two hotels. Within the hotel is the Aigler Room, a versatile meeting space for groups. The room can be set in a classroom, board meeting or banquet-style set up. The Aigler Room is situated off the hotel lobby for easy access to guests staying overnight or exploring Lakeside.

South Auditorium

Built in the 1800s, the antique charm of South Auditorium makes it the perfect venue for youth camps, craft shows, theater workshops and large, open gatherings from May-September. A portable projector, screen and audio equipment are available upon request for an additional charge. The East and West Wings provide additional space for breakout sessions and meetings.

Steele Memorial Bandstand (Gazebo)

Located in Bettinger Park next to the mini golf course and playground, the Steele Memorial Bandstand has become a gathering place for a variety of Lakeside traditions and events.

Since its construction, the Steele Memorial Bandstand has been the setting for countless memories. There have been concerts and worship events, weddings, lectures, author visits and nature programs. As a cornerstone spot on Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile, many have chosen the gazebo to be the focus of a painting, a shady spot for a family reunion or a stage for a marriage proposal.

Train Station

The Train Station is part of the original Lakeside and Marblehead Railroad that was constructed in October 1886. It is now a Historic Landmark.

The Train Station was restored in 2003 and is used as a multi-purpose meeting space for worship organizations, lectures, family reunions and more. The unique facility allows for a variety of meeting configurations and has onsite parking. With both indoor and outdoor space availability, it can accommodate up to 90 guests.

Wellness Center Drackett Hall

Part of the Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus in south Lakeside, the Wellness Center offers a large banquet room, Drackett Hall, that's ideal for wedding receptions, private parties, meetings, fitness classes and more. Drackett Hall can be divided into two rooms or combined into one large space. The Wellness Center also offers a small kitchenette for staging meals. The facility sits between a treelined nature walking trail and the pool, while beautiful landscaping surrounds the facility, providing natural views for your guests.

Wesley Lodge (North & South)

Wesley Lodge is located in the heart of Lakeside, just blocks from Hoover Auditorium and the downtown business district. It's a 4,750-square-foot space featuring 20-foot cathedral ceilings and two designated spaces that can be rented individually or together. The space offers a classroom style set-up for 350 guests or banquet style set-up for 250 guests. Wesley Lodge is an ideal space for groups to enjoy year-round, especially during the winter season with the warmth of the fireplace.
