Fourth of July Parade Prep

Stop by the Rhein Center from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3 to get ready for the Fourth of July Bike Parade.

No need to run to the store to buy supplies. Instead, for $5, you can decorate your bike and yourself for the festivities.

Join artist-in-residence Linda Zolten-Wood as she helps you express your inner Uncle Sam. Fun for all ages. You’ll transform cast-off plastics, cardboard and more into patriotic pride.

Choose from a variety of projects, including elaborate hats, flip-flops, T-shirts, posters, shakers and streamers. The Rhein Center has some flip-flops, but we encourage you to bring your own to ensure the right size.

T-shirts are available for an extra $5 or bring an old T-shirt. The Rhein Center will supply scissors, markers, paints, glue, tape and more. Bring your bike with you to deck it out for Lakeside’s Annual Bike Parade.
