Historic Tram Tour

Lakeside’s Historic Tram Tours are back with a new look! The purchase of a new tram was made possible by the generous support of Wayne Warden in memory of his wife Susan, the Lakeside Women’s Club and many Lakeside families.

On these tours, learn about the history that shaped the community we experience today. Along with facts and dates, the tour includes anecdotes about key figures and their impact on Lakeside’s history.

Reservations are $5/person and are available to purchase at the Lakeside Administration Office, cash only.  From June 5-Aug. 11, tours will run Monday-Friday at 10:30 a.m and 1:30 p.m. From Aug. 11-Sept. 1, tours will run Monday at 1:30 p.m. and Tuesday-Friday at 10:30 a.m. The tour lasts approximately 70 minutes, starting in front of Hotel Lakeside.

The tram has only 9 seats, so early registration is strongly encouraged. Please note: there will be no tours on Tuesday, July 4 or Thursday, July 27.
