Murder Mystery Weekend
Join us in Lakeside for mystery and family fun from September 29-30. This special fall weekend includes an interactive Murder Mystery Dinner led by Jest Murder Myster Co. at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30. Tickets are $65/person. Ages 13+ are invited to participate. Register now! The deadline to register is Saturday, Sept. 16.
The fun continues with the movie “Knives Out” in Orchestra Hall at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30. (PG-13, 2h 10m)
The Lakeside Heritage Society presents Mysterious Fires in Lakeside at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 in Orchestra Hall. The origins of two Lakeside fires remain unsolved and suspicious. In 1905, there was a big block downtown fire. In 1962, two cottages on Park Row burned. Sally DePerro, a Lakeside Heritage Society Board member, will lead the presentation and share what we know and don’t know about these fires. Was it arson? Who was responsible? Join us in reviewing the evidence and draw your own conclusions.
The fun, creative atmosphere of the Rhein Center continues into the fall. From 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays until Oct. 7, adults and kids alike are encouraged to paint and decorate a variety of items ($1-$15) with no registration required. Additional drop-in classes may be available as well. To view and register for available classes during Murder Mystery Weekend, visit lakesideohio.com/registration.
