Neil Berg’s widely acclaimed “101 Years of Broadway,” a musical revue of Broadway’s most celebrated shows, is returning to Lakeside’s Hoover Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 21.
The show features a dazzling cast of five Broadway stars accompanied by an all-star New York Band. Berg will be joined onstage by performers Rita Harvey, Carter Calvert and Richard Todd Adams and band members Roger Cohen (drums/percussion) and Abraham Saenz (bass).
“101 Years of Broadway” recreates the greatest moments from the finest shows of the century, featuring stars from shows such as “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Les Miserables,” “CATS,” “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Jekyll & Hyde.”
Berg is the composer/lyricist of the hit Off-Broadway musical “The Prince and the Pauper,” which ran for two years at the Lamb’s Theater in New York City. He wrote the music for the Broadway musical “Grumpy Old Men” based on the hit film.
