Picnic in Perry Park

The Wednesday night Picnic in Perry Park is a cherished tradition in Lakeside! For 30 summers, this weekly event has been a cornerstone of the Chautauqua season, blending community spirit and timeless traditions of a classic cookout in the park. Hosted by Lakeside’s children’s/youth ministries — God Squad, Middle Grade Madness and The Underground. You’ll hear music coming from Perry Park and begin smelling the hotdogs at about 5 p.m. but the Picnic starts at 5:30 p.m. in Perry Park.

The menu features classic all beef hotdogs right off the grill, baked beans, macaroni salad, watermelon, cookies and ice-cold lemonade. The evening includes family games for all ages with fabulous  prizes for the kids.

Guests are asked to contribute a $7 donation for their meal with either cash or online at the picnic.
