RaeLynn
RaeLynn, one of the hottest names in country music today, will make her Lakeside debut at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29 in Hoover Auditorium. She continues to carve her unique lane in country music with her gift of songwriting, accented by a one-of-a-kind personality. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the queue line starts no earlier than 5:30 p.m. outside Hoover Auditorium.
Growing up in Baytown, Texas, her desire for a music career took hold before she graduated high school in 2010. Two years later, she took the stage of NBC’s “The Voice” when she was just 17.
During the blind audition, she wowed the judges and ultimately joined Team Blake Shelton. The young singer made it all the way to the quarterfinals. When she was eliminated, she vowed to use the show as a stepping stone and moved to Nashville to pursue her dreams.
Since then, RaeLynn’s career as a singer-songwriter has blossomed under different labels. She has released numerous hit singles and critically claimed albums, become a multi-platinum recording artist, and a two-time Academy of Country Music “New Female Vocalist” nominee.
She has also toured the world and collaborated with countless artists, including Blake Shelton, Sara Evans, Florida Georgia Line, Scotty McCreery and Kane Brown.
RaeLynn’s debut single to country radio was “God Made Girls.” Released in 2013, the song peaked at No. 7 on the country charts and was certified platinum, while her debut album, WildHorse, arrived at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart in 2017.
Her 2021 independently released album, Baytown, earned over 100 million global streams. It’s named after her Texas hometown, blending the genres she was raised on.
RaeLynn is also a serious artist. Her most recent release in 2023, “It’s Happening Right Here,” accompanied a documentary with the same name, raising awareness about human trafficking.
Her star continues to rise after becoming the first country face to represent the global beauty brand Too Faced, and she made her acting debut in the Hallmark Channel’s “A Nashville Christmas Carol” in 2020.
Her devotion to her family and her faith, along with her passion for her values and her country, runs deep with her husband and brother formerly being in the military as Green Berets (Special Forces). Since becoming a mother in September 2021, her outlook on life has been enriched with growing a family and leaving a legacy of purpose.
