Bill Hendricks is the former President of Klyn Nurseries and is now an advisor for Petitti Farms. He is a member of many professional horticultural organizations, served as past President of the Lake County Nurserymen’s Association, and has served on review boards for publications including Handbook of Landscape Tree Cultivars by Willet Wandell, Street Tree Fact Sheets edited by Penn State University, and Landscape Plants for Ohio published by Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association.
Hendricks is a recipient of the ONLA Distinguished Contribution Award; was named 2014 "Grower of the Year” by Nursery Management Magazine; a recipient of the 2011 Horticultural Industries Leadership Award from Nursery Management Magazine; and a recipient of the 2010 Ohio Landscape Association Lifetime Dedication & Outstanding Contributions to the Landscape Industry Award. Lastly, he has a collection of over 4,000 cacti and succulents, which he started at age 7 and continues to maintainas a hobby.
