Enjoy the Historic Charm of the Hotel
Built at the beginning of the Chautauqua Movement, Hotel Lakeside is a one-of-a-kind edifice representing the architecture and history of another era. Throughout the years, the hotel has provided accommodations for many famous guests, including President William McKinley, Rutherford B. Hayes, First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and Amelia Earhart.

Reservations
Hotel Lakeside operates Memorial Day weekend through beginning of September. For more information or to make a reservation, contact 419-798-4461, ext. 230. You must purchase a Daily Chautauqua Pass and Auto Pass to enter Lakeside during our gated summer season.
Both Hotel Lakeside and the Fountain Inn open reservations with a 50-week advance window, allowing guests to book their rooms and plan their next trip to Lakeside. Call 419-798-4461. ext. 230 for details.

Deposit: The first night’s deposit with tax is required to guarantee your room reservation.
Cancellation Policy: Should you cancel your reservation more than 72 hours in advance of your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded, minus a $30 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival date will forfeit full deposit.
Advance Reservations: Both the Fountain Inn and Hotel Lakeside offer a 50-week advance booking window to allow guests to book hotel rooms and plan their next trip to Lakeside. For example, you’re able to reserve the date May 15, 2025, as early as May 30, 2024.
Lakeside Chautauqua Pass
From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, guests are required to purchase a Lakeside Chautauqua Pass and Auto Pass to enter the Lakeside grounds. There are a variety of passes available, depending on the length of your stay.
