The Wednesday night Picnic in Perry Park is a cherished tradition in Lakeside. For more than 30 summers, this weekly event has been a cornerstone of the Chautauqua season, blending community spirit and timeless traditions of a classic cookout in the park.
Hosted by Lakeside’s children’s and youth ministries — God Squad, Middle Grade Madness (MGM) and The Underground. You’ll hear music coming from Perry Park and begin smelling the hotdogs at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays from June 10-Aug. 19.
The menu features classic all-beef hotdogs right off the grill, baked beans, macaroni salad, watermelon, cookies and lemonade. The evening includes family games for all ages with prizes for kids.
Guests are asked to contribute a $7 donation for their meal with either cash or online at the picnic.
