Sailing has been a cherished Lakeside tradition passed down from generation to generation. To keep the tradition alive, Kids Setting Sail offers free sailing experiences for children ages 5-10 on Sundays from June 14-Sept. 6, weather permitting.
Organized by dedicated volunteers and members of the Society of Old Salts (S.O.S.), this program introduces young sailors to the fun and excitement of being out on the water.
To participate, visit the volunteers at the Lakeside Sailing Center during the event to complete registration and a waiver before setting sail.
Please note that Kids Setting Sail will not be held on Sunday, July 26, due to the Lakeside Sailing Regatta.
