Weather permitting, the Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus Pool will operate on a shift schedule over the holiday weekend to accommodate more guests.
Open Swim Hours
July 4 & 5
- Noon-2 p.m.
- 2:30-4:30 p.m.
- 5-7 p.m.
Guests will be dismissed at the end of each shift to allow staff time for cleaning and restaffing. There will be no scheduled rest breaks to maximize swim time. If the pool reaches capacity during any shift, guests will be admitted as individuals and families leave the facility. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please note that Lap Swim will not be available on July 4.
Weather permitting, the waterfront will also be available for swimming. Lifeguards will not be on duty at the waterfront. Swim at your own risk.
The Lakeside Chautauqua Administration Office is open 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on July 4. Most recreation facilities will open at noon following the parades. For hours of operation for shuffleboard, tennis, pickleball, miniature golf, waterfront rentals and other amenities, visit lakesideohio.com/hours.
