Enjoy an evening of music with Bent String at the Steele Memorial Bandstand on Sunday, July 12 at 6 p.m.
Bent String performs a dynamic mix of early American roots music including early jazz, roots country and acoustic blues, along with original songs written by members of the band. The quintet centers on the vocals of Kari Ann Rutushin and is underpinned by the feel of jazz-age swing with Reed Simon’s hot violin, Caroline King’s accordion and piano, Kevin T. Richards’ arch-top guitars and Cleveland Blues Hall of Fame upright bassist Raymond DeForest.
