Experience the magic of classic cinema as renowned organist Clark Wilson returns to Hoover Auditorium on Tuesdays — June 30, July 14 and Aug. 11 — to accompany the screening of silent films. The Silent Movie Night Series is supported by Peter & Debbie Stephens.
On July 14, enjoy the silent comedy "For Heaven’s Sake," starring Harold Lloyd, Jobyna Ralston and Paul Weigel. It is one of Lloyd’s most successful films. He plays carefree millionaire J. Harold Manners, whose life takes an unexpected turn when he falls for the daughter of a downtown minister. Romance, redemption and classic slapstick hilarity follow in this charming feature. (58 m)
