Hailing from Greensboro, North Carolina, talented trio features musicians Chuck Folds, Steve Willard and Eddie Walker, who have been entertaining audiences since 2007. 

After two decades of performing for adults, these dynamic dads set out to create music for families who want something fresh, clever and undeniably fun. Their music blends alternative, hip-hop, rock, country and more, creating smart, upbeat songs packed with positive messages, catchy hooks and moments that inspire learning and laughter. 

With three full-length albums, two bonus albums and more on the way, this award-winning trio has made a name for themselves in the Kindie Music scene. Their hit “Monster Under the Bed” won the Grand Prize in the 2011 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and they composed and performed the music for WFMY’s Emmy Award–winning "Read 2 Succeed" program. 

Big Bang Boom has rocked stages across the country, from Kidzapalooza at Lollapalooza, to Musikfest, the Hangout Festival and NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 Speed Street Festival, as well as countless schools, libraries and performing arts centers. They’ve also hosted Rock Star Summer Camps at multiple North Carolina Children’s Museums. 

 

Chuck Folds is the brother of Grammy-nominated musician Ben Folds, bringing musical talent and showmanship straight from a celebrated family of performers.
