The second National Historic Camp Meeting Celebration will be held at 7:15 p.m. EDT on Sunday, July 26, at Hoover Auditorium in Lakeside, Ohio, and The Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, with a livestream available nationwide.
Guest preacher Rev. Dr. Kenda Creasy Dean, Professor of Youth, Church and Culture at Princeton Theological Seminary, will share a dynamic message, based on the theme: “Remember! Celebrate! Share! A prolific author of 24 books, she is best known for Almost Christian: What the Faith of Our Teenagers is Telling the American Church.
Music will be provided by Michael Shirtz and the Chautauqua Choir of Lakeside, Ohio; the Henderson Family Singers of Craigville, Massachusetts; the Singing Stars from Gulfside, Mississippi; and the Ocean Grove Auditorium Choir of Ocean Grove, New Jersey. The celebration is supported by the Rev. Dr. Bud Cox Endowment, with the music supported by Doris F. Beardsley and James E. Beardsley.
