Flick ‘N Float

Date & Time

Monday August 3, 2026

9:00 pm - 11:00 pm

This event is included with your Daily, Weekly or Season Chautauqua Pass.
Returning this summer, Flick N’ Floats combine a relaxing evening swim with a family-friendly, PG-rated movie. Held on Monday, June 22, July 27 and Aug. 3, these two-hour events invite guests to float in the pool or settle into a cozy spot on the deck with snacks while a movie is projected under the Drackett Hall overhang. For movie titles, check signage at the pool or Orchestra Hall, or ask a Pool Attendant.

The pool gate opens at 9 p.m., and the movie begins around 9:15, weather permitting. Enjoy music before the film starts, and feel free to bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for the deck area only (no glass containers). Guests may bring a single-person float or use available CP floats, pool noodles or life jackets. Water wings and small inflatable toys are not permitted.

Children ages 12 & under who have not passed the Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus Pool swim test must be accompanied by an adult age 18+ while in the deep end. Wristbands will be provided to swimmers who have passed the swim test, which may be taken during any open swim session.

All regular pool rules and dress code policies apply, including:

  • Children ages 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult 18+ who remains for the entire movie.
  • Children ages 12 & under who have not passed the swim test must be accompanied by an adult 18+ in the deep end.
  • Children ages 5 & under must have an adult in the water with them at all times.
  • No smoking, vaping, alcohol, glass bottles or inappropriate swimwear.
