"A Night in Italy" is an immersive experience celebrating the greatest hits of Italian music — from opera and traditional folk songs to beloved Italian classics and contemporary favorites. Four singers and a symphony orchestra perform alongside breathtaking projections that transport audiences to Italy’s lush countryside, historic architecture and iconic landmarks.
The production was created by Kevin Babuder, a highly regarded Hollywood-based arranger, conductor and orchestrator whose career includes collaborations with Hans Zimmer, Ben Platt, the London Symphony Orchestra and Disney.
Babuder has developed and toured symphonic productions across the United States, with "A Night in Italy" serving as his most ambitious endeavor.
He has conducted orchestras across the country, including the Wichita Symphony Orchestra and the Garland Symphony, and has worked with members of the San Francisco Symphony and Chorus at Skywalker Sound. As an orchestrator, he collaborated with Zimmer on the Oscar-nominated short film "The Simpsons: The Longest Daycare."
Babuder’s music and arrangements have been performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, San Diego Symphony, Omaha Symphony, Pacific Symphony and Prague Symphony.
A graduate of the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, the Aspen Music Festival and School, and the Nadia Boulanger Music Theory Program at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, Babuder began his career as a professional bassoonist performing with the Florida Grand Opera Orchestra, Miami City Ballet Orchestra and the Key West Symphony.
