Every year, the shuttles are put to rest on Labor Day. To mark the close of another successful shuttle season, the drivers will end the day with a small parade at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7.
All Lakesiders are invited to join the parade behind the shuttles with your golf cart or show your appreciation for the drivers along the route by ringing bells, banging pots and cheering.
The parade starts at the Pavilion Circle and heads south on Maple Avenue. Then turns left on Third Street, right on Walnut Avenue and proceeds through the South Gate and ends with a brief ceremony in the parking lot.
